Trying to keep one story up and running is a lot harder than it seems, especially when you suffer from writer’s block.  So, I’ve decided to do something a little different.  But, I have to credit Carol Ann on Mibba, this was her idea first.  I’m not usually this creative.  So, anyway, here we gooooo:  

Basically, you can control what I write about with a word.  I’m a little Billie and Adie obsessed, so that’s what these one-shots will be about.  You can say any word, any word whatsoever, and I’ll write a one-shot about it.  Even if you say a word for ‘Duck’ I’d write a one shot about it.  When I’m stuck on what to write for a word or something else comes up, I’ll scribble down a random one-shot.  Since I’m just starting this and no one said a word yet, here is the first random one.  

I’m sorry if this a little confusing.  I tried my best.  Don’t worry if you’re a little confused, you’ll get the hang of it.  

So start thinking of words, and you’ll see the one-shot for it in a few days.  But, until then, here is mine.  This one is not based on a word, just something I thought of.


The Most Amazing Person

It was a rainy afternoon in Oakland, California.  The weather was nothing new; it had been raining a lot lately.  But, a little rain never stopped anyone, not even Billie Joe.  

Through the doorway, he could see his beautiful wife of thirteen years lounging on their couch.  She looked so peaceful, with her reading glasses sitting on the end of her nose, holding up just one of the many best-sellers written by Nora Roberts.  

Naked in Death was the novel title, a murder mystery.  That had become Adrienne’s most recent passion, reading.  Billie Joe watched her eyes through her glasses reading the text.  Then he watched her bring her hand up to her mouth and saw her eyes widen in fear.

“Oh no,” he heard her gasp, “Eve!  Run, run, he’s the killer!”  Adrienne’s hands gripped the book tighter, as this was obviously the climax of the story.

Billie Joe slowly made his way over towards his wife, who didn’t notice him; she was so enthralled in her reading.  He sat beside her and gently brushed her arm.  Adrienne jumped a little, turning her glasses askew.  Once she saw it was Billie Joe who had touched her, she breathed a sigh of relief.  

“Oh Billie Joe,” she panted, “It’s you.  I’m sorry; I didn’t know you were there.  This book is so good; I guess I got a little lost in it.”  Billie Joe smiled.

“It’s okay,” he said quietly.  He reached for Adrienne’s hair, and twisted a piece through his fingers.  “I was watching you, you know, when you were reading.”

Adrienne removed her glasses and placed her bookmark between pages.  “Oh really?”

Billie Joe nodded.  “You looked so beautiful.”  

Adrienne blushed and scooted closer to her husband.  “Oh, you’re just saying that.  That’s just things husband’s say.”

Billie Joe shook his head.  “No, really, you looked so amazing.”  

Adrienne blushed again and wrapped her arms around her husband.  “Well, thank you.”  

Billie Joe uncurled his wife’s hair from around his finger.  He leaned forward and planted a kiss on her lips.  “I love you,” he whispered once the kiss parted.

Adrienne smiled.  “I love you too.  But why-’’ She was cut short as Billie Joe kissed her again, deeper and longer this time.  Adrienne leaned back on the couch, her head resting on her book.  She lifted up her head a little; making her teeth hit Billie’s.  They both laughed as Adrienne threw her book to the floor.  

Billie sat up, straddling his wife’s curves.  He looked down at her adoringly, and Adrienne looked back.  Their eyes met, and it seemed that their gaze lasted for one thousand hours.  “You are the most amazing person,” Billie said.  “I mean it, the most amazing.”

Adrienne smiled.  “Likewise.”  

“I swear,” Billie continued, “Since the day I met you, I’ve loved you.  You are brilliant, and….and….and I can’t even find the right words to say how much you mean to me.  It’s just, like, oh hell, I don’t know.  I love you.”  

Adrienne giggled and placed her hand in Billie’s mop of hair.  She ran her fingers through it as Billie brought his face close to hers.  Their lips met once again, and if possible, the kiss was even deeper and more passionate than the last.

As they continued kissing, Billie slowly unbuttoned his wife’s shirt.  Their tongues danced together and entwined, as well as their bodies.  Billie shimmied out of his pants, not even unbuckling his belt.  He kicked his clothes to the floor, along with Adrienne’s shirt.  Billie parted his lips from Adrienne’s and began kissing her neck.  After her neck came the plane of her chest, and then her stomach.  

Billie Joe looked up into Adrienne’s doe brown eyes.  “I love you Adrienne Armstrong, and now I’m going to prove it.”  With that phrase, Billie quickly nipped at her stomach, before he smoothly slipped off her skirt.

AWW!!!!! I LOVE IT FAYE!!! I LOVE IT I LOVE IT.....and.......uhhhh....OH YES!!! I LOVE IT!!!

I laughed when Adrienne was yelling into her book! lol

Ha ha thanks!  I was laughing when I was writing that part.  That book I mentioned, Naked in Death, is a real book.  Infact, it's my current reading materiel.  

Do you have a one-shot word for me?

Maybe make your own thread.  You know, these could be my little one-shots, then you could have your own.  Also so people don't get confused on who is writing what.
